Chemical vapor deposition diamond
PCD, PCBN and synthetic single crystal diamond are synthesized under high temperature and high pressure, while CVD diamond is prepared under low pressure. Carbon based gases and hydrogen mixtures are decomposed into diamond deposition on the substrate at high temperature and under the pressure of atmospheric pressure. The deposited polycrystalline diamond is an excellent interactive growth, it is very dense and columnar structure. With different growth conditions, CVD diamond also exhibits different grain sizes and structures. The thermal stability of CVD diamond is close to that of natural diamond.
